We play Football
It's important to incorporate balls into our drills. We're playing football, after all!
Let's not forget that you probably are coaching amateurs, providing guidance and support. Our focus should be on helping them enjoy the sport and develop their abilities, not on achieving unrealistic standards.
No Respect, no Success
Respect for players is about building trust, fostering a positive team culture, and empowering athletes to reach their full potential. Respecting players means understanding that athletes are more than just their performance on the field. It involves considering their emotional well-being and personal growth.
Develop Player's Body Awarness
Listening to your body is a fundamental skill for any footballer aiming to maximize performance and prevent injuries. By tuning into your physical sensations, such as muscle fatigue, joint pain, or a dip in motivation, players can tailor their training to meet their specific needs. Ignoring these signals can lead to overtraining, decreased performance, and burnout. Listening to your body also fosters greater self-awareness and empowers athletes to take control of their training. In sports, a simple 'I'm tired' should be a red flag, as it could indicate overtraining, injury, or even a more serious health issue.
